東興圳在城市中屬於一道當下的風景，為了使在地民眾能更深入了解燈節作品與在地連結，特別規劃一件民眾參與的作品，邀請剪紙藝術家魏少君與興隆國民小學、六家國民小學學童，透過剪下的花草與動物，同心協力黏貼在燈球上呈現屬於自己的一道風景，完成後並設置在草地上。
Dongxing Canal is a beautiful landscape in the urban city. In order to connect with local communities, we invite the paper-cutting artist Wei Shao-jun and students from two nearby elementary school to create flower and animal paper-cutting artworks. These creations are pasted on the lanterns, reflecting the landscape in their minds. The works will then be displayed on the grass, fostering anticipation and instilling a sense of pride for the Light Festival among the local community.
